Great Expectations

Great Expectations Pip begins the novel as a young orphan boy growing up in the marsh county of Kent, England. He is raised by his sister, Mrs. Jone and brother in-law, Joe Gargery. Much later, Pip is taken by his Uncle Pumblechook to entertain the eccentric and wealthy Miss Havisham at Satis House. Miss Havisham has peculiar ways and still wears her wedding gown from when she was left at the altar. While he's there he meets the beautiful and mysterious Estella who treats him with disdain.
